Flowforge steel open mesh grating covers a variety of applications and meets both UK and EU standards for ball proof requirements, making it a safe and reliable option. Available in 20BP and 35BP, the decision on which to install needs to consider how much traffic will pass underneath and how frequently.
Ball proofing requirements provide protection against falling objects, possibly harming machinery or workers below.

RF 20MM BALL PROOF GRATING
To be used where there is high traffic areas underneath, where people are working below or for fire escapes.
The smallest pitch we offer and designed to not allow the passage of a 20mm diameter ball bearing.
RF 35MM BALL PROOF
To be used for access where a walkway is in occasional use, traffic may pass occasionally beneath and where there are no people working below.
Used for platforms, walkways, landings and stairs. Designed not to allow the passage of a 35mm diameter sphere. Compliant to BS 4592 – 0:2006 + A1:2012 (British) and BS EN ISO 14122 – 1:2016 (European) Standards.
RF UTILITY GRATING
Designed for installation in areas with limited headroom and where passage beneath is restricted.
Ideal for access points, walkways, shelving, and fencing applications. Not resistant to ball penetration and features the widest openings.
