GRP FLOWGRATE

Flowgrate GRP floor grating has been designed to provide a high-strength, lightweight and durable solution for walkways, platforms, risers, trenches and mezzanine decks.

Its mesh size facilitates efficient drainage and prevents debris accumulation when used as flooring, ensuring the safety of workers and machinery.

Applications of GRP Flowgrate

Flowgrate finds extensive use in industries such as rail, power, and marine. These panels are versatile, serving as debris litter screens and machine guards when installed vertically.

Flowgrate GRP grating panels are significantly lighter than steel, up to 50%, and feature a hard-wearing, anti-slip gritted surface. Compliant with UK and EU standards, this surface enhances slip resistance, making Flowgrate an optimal choice for marinas, jetties, pontoons, and gangways.

THE FLOWGRATE RANGE

Available in various depths, colors, and panel sizes. The Flowgrate range also includes Micromesh grating with smaller square apertures compliant with 20mm ball proofing standards

Both standard and Micromesh Flowgrate GRP products are available in phenolic, offering excellent fire retardant properties meeting BS476 Part 7 Class 0 and section 12 of London Underground standards for low smoke and low toxicity in tunnel applications.

Constructed from isophthalic polyester, these grating panels are non-conductive, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and strong. Flowgrate incorporates ultraviolet inhibitors to counter solar degradation when installed outdoors, further extending its lifespan.

FLOWGRATE SIZES

Standard Flowgrate mesh is 38mm x 38mm square. It is also available in 50mm x 50mm and 19mm x 19mm (Micromesh).

Flowgrate is available in 25mm, 38mm or 50mm depths, with panel sizes of 1000mm x 3000mm or 1220mm x 3660mm.

FLOWGRATE COLOURS

Flowgrate is available in Light Grey RAL 7040, Dark Grey RAL 7043, Yellow RAL 1003 or Green RAL 6017 as standard.

Phenolic GRP is available in Antique Brown. Our well-established supply chain allows for bespoke RAL colours on request.
