As Redman Fisher are part of something bigger, being part of Lionweld Kennedy Group, we are helping to push the standards within the manufacturing industry and move towards more sustainable practices. Which is why, we are proud to declare that our Flowforge, also known as Safegrid, has received an Environmental Product Deceleration!
Understanding EPD’s
An Environmental Product Deceleration (EPD) transparently reveals a product’s environmental performance throughout its entire lifestyle, from the extraction of raw materials at the start to manufacturing to usage then onto disposal.
Unlike eco-labels, EPD’s provide a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) which covers all stages and areas of a products environment impact.
Our core range of steel grating, Flowforge, is low-carbon and infinitely recyclable which makes Flowforge a sustainable choice within the supply chain. Partnered with it’s EPD, we are proud to present the market with a leading sustainable product.
We committed to developing an EPD for our Flowforge product to be transparently clear with our customer and supply chain about the embedded carbon within our steel grating. Our Flowforge product is also compliant with UK and EU standards for ballproofing, coming in 35mm and 20mm loading.
Value of our EPD
Market Competitiveness
Specifiers and buyers are increasingly choosing suppliers transparent about environmental performance. Redman Fisher and Lionweld Kennedy Group alike are the global pioneers in obtaining an EPD for steel grating, making us the preferred choice for those seeking sustainable steel flooring and access products.
